Ready, set, go…

All set for the operation. From 12 midnight onwards, I must start fasting and only have sips of water. The operation itself is okay as I will not be aware of what the surgeons are doing. What I hate most is the after-operation recovery in ICU and the ward.

All those tubes running around me and all those hourly checks by the nurses makes it very difficult to rest. Like the previous operation, I will be looking forward to coming home and having a good rest in the comfort of my own bed.

I am feeling positive and I am looking forward to the stoma reversal and praying hard that with the infected liver portion removed, I will finally be cancer free.

TTSH had called to informed me to be at the Operation Centre by 1030. The operation itself will commence at around 1130.
